Coastal Tour

Caostal tours are suitable for families, wildlife enthusiasts and anyone keen to see Conamara from sea level, dramatic scenery, close wildlife encounters, and a direct connection to coastal culture and history.

The route follows the jagged coastline, natural and cultural landmarks with its ancient forts and worked shorelines. You may encounter seals hauled out on rocky skerries, their heads tracking the boat, and if you are lucky, dolphins playing in the bow wave. Seabird gannets, guillemots, kittiwakes, providing excellent photo opportunities. Providing a sense of having explored a wild, living seascape

The Rib allows to navigate the archipelago easily through narrow channels larger boats cannot reach. We will share local knowledge of coastal and island life, mythology and history, and the enduring presence of the Irish language in this coastal community.

Trips are tailored by duration—short harbour loops, half-day explorations or full-day excursions that venture further into the archipelago.
